Ugh. This site has been a disaster zone for quite some time now, as you can probably tell. The problems started when I did a mandatory upgrade. I had been putting it off, just in case something would become incompatible, but apparently a really bad worm is going around on Wordpress sites, so it was imperative that I upgrade ASAP. Naively, I went for it.

It seemed to go off without a hitch. The site still looked fine, and my dashboard still came up for me. But when I tried to upload this comic for Wednesday, I found out that the comic manager I had installed was completely screwed up.  So I did the obvious thing, which was update that too, to a version that claimed to be compatible with the Wordpress update.

After I did that, the site failed completely. I couldn’t get to my dashboard or anything. I just got error messages.

So, I restored the site to an older version, and re-upgraded everything manually instead of relying on the automatic tools. It worked… except that all the comics weren’t showing up. Which is relatively important on a comic site. So I deleted the entire website and started over from scratch.

This time, there aren’t any compatibility issues, but I had to manually publish every comic one-by-one. And as you can tell, I’m still using the default design right now. Also, all the comments and comic titles in the archives are gone. I still have the database with all of that stuff in it, but it didn’t carry over as promised.

So, that’s where we are now. I’ll keep working on getting the site looking normal, and you enjoy this extremely hurtful comic by tony.

Yaaayyyyy toilettexting is back! The comic looks really good today, Although the Karma Bear in the linedrawing looks like he’s singing very heartfeltily. (I can see it’s supposed to be angry eyebrows but it looks like the eyelid of a closed eye)

    Ridiculous internet troubles… psh.

Eeesh. In the future contact Phil (AKA Frumph) over @ http://webcomicplanet.com , he should be able to help you out. He helped build ComicPress and wrote ComicPress manager all by himself.

As I was catching up I was wondering why none of the comics had any comments — now it has all become clear. So when does the big fight happen?
